The Way We Were

Early 90's witnessed a growth in the automobile manufacturing sector in Pakistan with two major international players entering the market. This provided the necessary impetus to the engineering sector, and the aggressive deletion program laid out by the government infused the necessary dynamism in the environment. Noor Engineering Service commenced its operations in this environment.

It began with the manufacture or propeller shafts for Suzuki ST308 (Van/Pick up) in 1993. Initial development was carried out using in-house technology From its inceptions, the manufactured products conformed to all local as well as Japanese Tests and Specifications. Market confidence in the quality of products led to expansion in the product range, and production of Propeller Shafts for SJ410 (4x4) commenced in 1995.

Diversification has been a continuous process, and the production of Gear Shift Control Levers for SB308 (Suzuki Mehran) and ST308 (Suzuki Van / Pick up) began in 1997. NES progressed to the supply of Hub, Front Axle for Toyota Corolla in early 2003. Meeting the high Toyota standards was achieved by using in-house technology and Daewoo turning centers.
